Leadership
Mary Meeker
National Director
Mary Meeker, Villi’s National Director, leads the development and operations of our service platforms and support teams. Her primary focus is on building teams that are dedicated to supporting our mission through trust, loyalty, and a shared culture with our clients, companions, and team members. As a family caregiver for her Granny, Marilyn, Mary has a deep understanding of the challenges families face in supporting their aging loved ones. She has witnessed firsthand the struggles families endure, even with a large support system, to meet the growing demands of caring for their loved ones. This personal experience has given her a unique insight into the gap in service offerings and how Villi can now bridge that gap for so many others.
Mary’s dedication to home health services is not just a job; it’s a passion she discovered when she joined Maxim Healthcare in 2007. Her journey started with leading homecare services branches in West Palm Beach and Jacksonville, Florida. Her commitment and expertise led her to transition into the Regional Director for Business Development role in payer management, which eventually led her to her current role with Villi.
Mary graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Communications and loves Seminole football. When Mary is not working, she boats with her husband and son, spends time with her family, or nurtures her green thumb gardening.
Katie Doerfler
Director of Operations
Katie Doerfler is the Director of Operations, leading operational strategy and the Advisor team for Villi. Katie navigates organizational priorities through strategy and process improvement while ensuring an exceptional experience for clients and companions alike.
Katie started her career with Maxim Healthcare in 2015 in Virginia, where she was introduced to helping healthcare facilities ensure they had sufficient staff to support their patients. This experience led her to her passion of connecting clients and their loved ones to the support they need.
Growing up in a multigenerational home, Katie witnessed the benefits and challenges of family caregiving. Her grandmother became her best friend, while her mother served as the primary caregiver; her parents juggled work and supported their three busy children at home. This firsthand experience motivates Katie to provide unwavering support to families balancing the impossible demands of the “sandwich generation”.
Katie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s in Organizational Development. When Katie isn’t working, she’s a busy mom, traveling to spend time with family or reading a good book.
